Lets Talk About PEPPERSMITH

Hello there,

This post is going to be a chatty one and it's all about "PepperSmith"

PepperSmith is a fantastic brand that sells mints and gum that help reduce plaque (Awesome Right)
There mints and gum are actively good for your teeth, they steer clear of sugar and only using 100% xylitol which helps reduce plaque and tooth decay.

My package came in a lovely bright blue box with PepperSmith wrote on the front and back.

It's so sleek and fresh looking, so back on to the most important thing the products inside of the box.

Xylitol is a naturally occurring suger alternative. It's name comes from 'xylon', the Greek for wood.
It has less calories than sugar (about 40% less), has a lower GI and, most importantly, has well established active dental health benefits.

Okay your probably thinking this all sounds great but how does it actually work?

Well tooth decay starts with harmful bacteria in the mouth which forms plaque. Sugary foods cause bacteria energy to multiply and produce acids that dissolve the enamel of the tooth and cause decay.
When bacteria absorb xylitol they can't produce acids and they can't multiply- in fact numbers are reduced by up to 90%. It also prevents those pesky bacteria's from sticking to your beautiful teeth which means less plaque is formed. Eating xylitol means fewer acid attacks, less bacteria and less plaque which means less decay.

By this point I should have convinced you that you need PepperSmith mints and gum in your life but if not the packaging should push you over the edge.

My box came with six packets of mints and gum, an information leaflet and a postcard.
The hole package was extremly cute and it's a pretty fantastic way of presenting there products,
